December Sun Sign Forecasts

december_f
December is a monumentous month, with repercussions from recent months becoming increasingly apparent.  The month starts with a lovely Moon, Venus and Jupiter conjunction in mid late Capricorn bring a degree of hope and optimism into the world, followed by an absolutely critical full Moon squaring both Saturn and Uranus on December 12.  And the Mars/Pluto conjunction between December 24 and 27 brings to a conclusion things that have been in development since the end of September of last year, peaking last Christmas, echoing at the end of February and mid August and ending finally at the end of this year.  By New Year, it’s a different ball game and situations can be reassessed.  But until the end of December we collectively are in the mix. Now go here for Steve Judd’s comprehensive review of December’s Sun Signs...

Go Mad, Be Joyous, Bring It On!

When I lived in the UK, I used to dread Sundays. They seemed to be the longest, most boring day of the week. But it’s a very different story here in Rio. Yesterday, it may have been cloudy, rainy and dare I say it … chilly, but my husband and I still stepped out and headed up to Ipanema for our Sunday cup of coffee and croissant.

On Sundays, the main dual carriageway backing Ipanema and Copacabana beach is closed off to traffic and when the sun shines, it is always teeming with joggers, walkers, skateboarders, roller-bladers and very happy dogs! Everyone is out and about, enjoying the sun and keeping themselves in shape. Today, though, was different. Read On...

In the Womb of Creation

Christina Trevino

As I awaken early, the wind is blowing outside my window with a readiness of sound and story. This day I realize that my soul has the desire to speak on the flowing currents. Am I ready? Am I listening? As I sit to begin writing I notice that the moment seems to stand still. The music playing takes me to an openness within. I am in the depths of unawareness listening for the beginning. Read On...

No Place Like Home

no_place_like_home_f
Do you remember that famous line from The Wizard of Oz? As Dorothy clicked together the heels of her sparkly red shoes, closed her eyes and wished herself back home, she was transported through the swirling vortex and in the next instant there she was, back in her old familiar bedroom. Well it wasn’t quite as quick a journey for me, but I did finally get home to Rio late on Thursday night! Read On...

All quartz crystals and gemstones will respond to the 'intent' of your own personal will; whether in word or in thought. Quartz crystals are usually 'programmed' for the following purposes: Read On...

The Times They Are A Changing

Change200_f
Is it just me? Or has something already changed? Unless you’ve been consciously avoiding all forms of media (actually very understandable) you’ll know that Barack Obama will be the next president of the United States of America. Normally I would avoid getting into politics because my feelings are that governments limit and control us way too much and basically prevent us from living our lives to our full physical, intellectual and spiritual potential. But I have to admit to being swept up on this wave of hope. Read On...

Dreaming Synchronization Harmonics® into Being
by Edna Spennato
Inspired by the fact that Reiki works at a distance, and by the potential for sending healing energy to parts of the planet experiencing pain and to the consciousness of the Earth herself, I designed the Earth Heal globe, to be used by healers and people meditating for world peace, and in the meantime continued to work with clients in my private practice at home.   Read On...

Of Ghost Ships and Broomsticks

qm_f_thumb
So there I was in LA last week with a day to fill. After a productive stint on the internet, I decided to pay a visit to the legendary Queen Mary cruise ship which is moored at Long Beach. It was a beautiful sunny day and as I stepped out on the street the sun’s rays warmed up my chilled air-conditioned body and I congratulated myself on ‘getting up off my backside’ to go and do something. Feeling My Way to Healing Work

Part One (of three)
by Edna Spennato ©

At the start of the nineties, when South Africa was finally throwing off the last chains of apartheid and Nelson Mandela was about to be released after 27 years in detention, I had the opportunity to go on a long and open-ended ocean voyage in a small sailing boat with just one other person, and I decided to take it.  Read On...
